Our Services
1.1 Wiink offers:
Matchmaking – introductions to potential matches.
Singles Events – social events for singles.
1.2 What we don’t do:
We don’t guarantee a relationship, spark, or soulmate.
We don’t run criminal checks or ID verifications. Screening is basic and relies on participant honesty.
We’re not responsible for the conduct, personality, or actions of anyone you meet through Wiink.
- Eligibility
2.1 You must be 18 years or older to use Wiink services or attend events.
2.2 By signing up, you confirm that all information you provide is true and accurate.
- Payments & Security
3.1 All payments are processed securely through Yoco, a third-party payment gateway.
3.2 Wiink does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card information. We never see it.
3.3 By making payment, you also agree to Yoco’s own terms and security measures.
3.4 Wiink is not responsible for any unauthorised use of your payment information outside of our control.
- Refunds & Credits
4.1 All payments are non-refundable.
4.2 Matchmaking: If no match is introduced within two (2) weeks, your fee may be credited towards a Wiink singles event of equal value.
4.3 Singles Events: Tickets are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least 5 working days’ notice, your ticket may be credited towards another event.
4.4 Credits must be used within 3 months and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Risks & Responsibility
5.1 You accept that meeting new people carries social and personal risks. Participation is at your own discretion and risk.
5.2 Wiink is not liable for:
Any injury, accident, damage, loss, or harm before, during, or after introductions or events.
The behaviour, character, or actions of any individual you meet.
Emotional, financial, or social consequences of your participation.
- Your Commitments
By joining Wiink, you agree to:
Be respectful towards all participants and staff.
Not engage in harassment, abuse, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour.
Accept that we may refuse entry or remove you without refund or credit if you break these terms.
- Privacy (POPIA)
7.1 Wiink collects and stores your personal information only for providing our services.
7.2 We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties, except where required by law.
7.3 By using Wiink, you consent to us using your information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Indemnity
By participating, you indemnify and hold harmless Wiink, its owners, employees, and partners from any claim, damage, liability, or expense that arises from:
Your participation in matchmaking or singles events, or
Any interactions, dates, or relationships formed through Wiink.
- Force Majeure
If Wiink events or services are disrupted due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. load shedding, strikes, venue closure, or natural events), tickets or services will be credited, not refunded.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
- Agreement
By purchasing or using Wiink services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
